So, Thanksgiving...
positives and negatives of not being home...
positives: no potato peeling, no doing the dishes of 15 people by hand, um...
negatives: NO FUCKING THANKSGIVING! WHAT THE HELL? I'M AT WORK! I HATE THIS!

Anyhow, I will be making a turkey breast, instant mashed potatoes, brie (maybe), brownies, and I have some premade scones to substitute as real biscuits.
At least I'll be home in less than a month.

So, I haven't posted since February, I find that interesting. I don't think I actually have anything important to say, in the past nine months I haven't done much, college, apartment, planning to study abroad, but nothing terribly special (and if I did do anything special I seem to have forgotten). I saw Casino Royale, it's pretty good, and also pretty long, deceptively long if you see it at 4, and when you get out at 6:30 it looks like 10:30 cause it's really dark out, but that's just me. So I'm home until the 6th or something and I won't be doing much cause I'm just boring that way. So, for the three or four (am I being opptimistic?) people who may read this, that's all.

Happy Kwanza
(Fuck that, people who claim there is a war on christmas!)

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In June I caught a purse-snatcher who stole [info]fay21's purse (30 points). In August I gave [info]bmleh428 a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). In November I ruled Iran as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). Last Saturday I bought porn for [info]tinoula518 (10 points). In May I turned [info]the_tasty_chai in for running naked in the mall (3 points).

Overall, I've been nice (793 points). For Christmas I deserve a Lego set!

Sincerely,
IceHeart161

Well, I was just randomly surfing through live journal communities before English, and I happened to stumble upon tvguide.com where I read this interesting tidbit:

Question: OK, I admit, I was one of those people beating up on you, sending you a harsh e-mail after the season premiere of Alias. However, you have fully redeemed yourself with your latest tidbit about the Michael Vartan saga! Don't stop there, though — any news on the negotiations to bring him back to the show? — Andrea

Ausiello: Were you the one who banished me to a life of eternal damnation? All my hate mail tends to blur together. Anyway, yes, there is a major — major — development on the Vartan/Vaughn front: The deal officially closed late last week and Vartan returned to work on the Alias set yesterday. Please don't ask me who he's playing or how long his return engagement will last, because that I can't tell you. (Mostly 'cause, well, I don't know.)

This is the website: http://www.tvguide.com/News/AskAusiello

It's probably just gossip, and I only have the wishful thinking thing going, but if Vaughn were to come back, perhaps the show could crawl out of Crapsville. Oh well, going back to my delusions now.

Is it bad that my history midterm, which included an essay and five short answer definitions took me about 17 minutes to complete, even though I had fifty minutes to do it in? I really don't think that's a good sign, but it was really easy. The problem is that I'm a girl of few written words.

That's it for now, folks.

As the subject said, I am bound by the sacred laws of livejournal to post this,

Reply with your name and
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written.

So, if you want to do the thing, I don't really care.

No updates on life by the way, it's pretty much the same. Well, except for the fact that I am now nineteen.

I don't know whats so wise about wisdom teeth really. It hurts when they're in, it hurts when they're out, so whats the point? Wisdom by pain? Oh well. I had mine removed about three hours ago, and from what most people have told me, I should be asleep right now, but I'm not that tired. Right after I got home from the dentists office I just wasn't all that tired anymore, maybe I'll even be able to eat something later. And the best part, no evil Gordana Sormaz, and the second best part, no Japanese quiz. It seems so long ago that I actually didn't mind going to school. Oh well, senioritis at its best, right?

And, the Producers was cool when I saw it on Saturday in Chicago.

Pain
Okay, so taekwondo is cool and all. But is three hours of training with Daniel Steerling (the stunt double from the Blade movies) absolutely necessary? Really? He's awesome with the tricks and all, and I think he can fly judging by what I saw yesterday, but THREE HOURS? I'm in a lot of pain now, after all of the flips and arials and lots of spinning, it hurts to move much. But he did compliment me on my arial (no handed cartwheel) so yay. But motrin doesn't even work! Grr. Oh well, maybe I'm a better taekwondo person now. Or not. Hopefully I can walk well by tomorrow, I don't want to be limping around school. Yeah, that would suck.

Is it just me, or did they spell Andalucia wrong on Alias? They spelled it with an s on tv, but I've always known it with a c. Or am I just crazy?

Today just sucked. Last night my mom and I went down to Camp Atterbury to be with my aunt and cousins. We sent my 22 year old cousin off to Kuwait today, he'll be in Iraq in a matter of days. His battalion is the last of the National Guard units to be sent for a year long tour. It sucks. It was weird, there were two TKD people being sent over with him. One has three kids and a wife that he's leaving behind. As for the other, it was the first time I'd seen him in about three years. What do you say then, "Hi, long time, no see. Good luck in Iraq." ? The toughest thing about it, though, was that I saw more than twenty grown soldiers crying.

On a brighter note, I got Resident Evil 2.
